Colorado Trip - My 30th Birthday

Colorado doesn't know what hit them the weekend we arrived....oh boy! My entire family - Mom, Dad, Pat, Ashley, Janna, Evan, Bern, and I ventured out to Colorado for a long weekend!!! It was definitely one of the greatest weekends ever. Thank you Allison and Steve and Justin and Steph for showing us such a great weekend!!! We can't thank you guys enough for your hospitality and your countless trips to the airport! We truly appreciate it all. We did lots of celebrating in the beautiful downtown Denver. Hit Boulder on the day of the game! The weather was perfect all weekend long!!!

The Month Of October!

Bern and I had an amazing October! The first full week we spent with great friends in Turks and Caicos! Boy, what am amazing trip. The water in Turks was priceless. We spent many great hours relaxing ocean or pool side. Thousands of games of UNO! OUR FAVORITE. We played UNO on the beach and they of course every night in the Carson Mansion before we went to dinner. We even got a hilarious game of Dirty Scrabble in!

Oprah Trip

I'm way behind on my blogging! Back at the end of August my mother -in-law and I attended Oprah! We are still in shock that we were able to get tickets. And, guess who we got to see.....Gwyneth Paltrow and Mario Batali. It was amazing. The show has already aired and we made national television at the very beginning as the cameras scanned the audience. We had an amazing time and truly a wonderful memory! Thank you Kathi for an amazing Oprah Trip!!!

Pet-Pa-Looza!

Sunday we took Frankie to go see some friends and for a little swimming...we weren't quite for sure if she could swim....bulldogs we didn't think could.....
She jumped right in to....and Janna had to go after her! ha.

Sunday we Celebertaed my little Brother's 27th birthday! I am so proud of you Pat. You bring much laughter into our lives! What a great time we had celebrating with you this weekend!

Band Day

Grandma, Grandpa, Mom and I went to the Parade - Bands from all over KS. It was fun to watch them. K-State always starts off and then the MHS Indians to follow...this year it was Junction City2nd and MHS like 4th...I'm a little perturbed that MHS wasn't 2nd for Manhattan being our hometown.
