Getting All Geared Up for Stampede!!!

As I sit here and get excited about this years Country Stampede I went to the web-site to check things out. So, I started looking through the photos they have from previous years and look what I ran across......yes, my sister and Kate! I am getting my cowgirl hat ready.....Sugarland here I come!

Katie's Bridal Shower

This weekend my mom and I threw a Bridal Shower for Katie! We had a wonderful time and it was great to catch up with everyone. We are so happy for Geoff and Katie and can't wait for the bid day to arrive. Later that night we all went out to dinner and had a great evening to top it off! Geoff and Bern dove head first into the belfast bombers......oh and the long island ice tea's...how could I forget!

We just got back from Tucson where we went to visit my aunt and uncle! We had such a great time it was hard to leave. Great weather and so relaxing! We shared many great laughs and lots of great memories. Went golfing, shopping, hiking, ate at some great restaurants, a day trip to Noglaes, Mexico, and had the best time just relaxing at their place. The view from there backyard is amazing...and watching the sunset each night is priceless. Thanks Brad & Lexy for a great week!

Our Trip to The Tucson

Our our trip to Tucson we visited the Arizona - Sonoma Desert! It was just amazing. The wildlife there is truly a site to see. http://www.desertmuseum.org/ Here are just some pictures from our hike through the desert museum. The beaver was my favorite cause it was doing all sorts of tricks for us in the water. Janna is so freightened by snakes...we didn't see any that weren't in cages...however we tried to scare her many times! We even got to see a mountain lion and havolenias. Such an adventure!

Memorial Day Weekend

Our Memorial Day was very special as we celebrated two weddings and met the newest addition to the Ryan Family!!! We started off our weekend Thursday night when Mike, Mags, and Kate came to visit us! We had such a great time visiting and catching up. We were so excited to see them that I didn't even get any pictures...darn it.

Saturday we headed to Lawrence for Austin and Karley Porter's Wedding! WHAT A FUN WEDDING THIS WAS!!! Our early morning flight the next day was very hard to make...... Austin and Karley are such a neat couple. We are very happy for the two of them!

Then we headed to Tampa, Florida for Bern's cousin's wedding! What a beautiful wedding!!! Check out all the amazing flowers!!! We had a great time with his family - lots of great memories we will never forget.

And, a great day was spent at the beach!

On our way home we met little Taylor Ryan! She is so adorable and precious.....we got to see her smile and even fall asleep in my arms. Taylor is one lucky baby to have such wonderful parents so full of life and love!

Gardening......Before Picture

Well, I am attempting to Garden....yes Garden. I know it scares me too. I am growing (trying to grow) tomatoes, green peppers, jalapeno peppers, then some herbs like cilantro, basil, rosemary and a few others. Bern makes some excellent salsa!!! This is the before picture....before I got everything planted. Stay tuned for the after picture....
