Wine & Cheese Tasting

Over the past two years, with a group of great friends, we bid on an item at the Boys & Girls Club Fundraiser! This is our 2nd annual wine & cheese tasting at 4Olives!

K-State in the BIG Apple!

The KSU Men's Basketball team traveled to NY City to play in the Jimmy V Classic. We followed as true fans! We even made shirts that we were very proud of.

Rockettes!!!

We went to see the famous Rockettes in NY at the Radio Music City Hall. They were just amazing and truly gave us that holiday spirit!

Karaoke Night in NY!

After dinner we decided to hit the Comedy club called HA! It was fun at first until a mother brought her 4 year old in and we thought it was in our best interest to leave as it just wasn't appropriate. After leaving the comedy club we found this Karaoke bar...and it was an omen we went there - the night was just a blast! The best part was my father singing Macho Man!

Snow in NY!

Sunday we woke up to SNOW in NY! It was just gorgeous by boy it was cold.....

This is a picture of the lovely Comfort Inn where we resided. Right downtown by Times Square. It was a perfect location. We found humor in the fact that each floor only had 4 rooms.


We headed to find the Double Decker buses. We did a tour of the entire downtown loop - it was such great fun! Most of us sat inside though as the top level was outdoors.....

First Stop! Waldorf Historia....they had the neatest bathrooms!

Second stop ROCKEFELLER CENTER....and oh my gosh the tree was just amazing!!!

And onto my favorite Central Park.....

....yep got pooped on!

New York, NY!!!

Once we got to NY we started the day off in SOHO. Emily Keating met us there and we ate lunch at this Pizza place...then of course hit some shops. The guys found the local pubs....

We arrived in New York on Saturday, December 1st!

That evening we ate dinner at this wonderful restaurant called Chex Joshephines...it was fabulous. They had a singer there that loved the fellas...she wouldn't leave our table alone! It was priceless...
